Who are we?

Whether it's helping to land the catch of a lifetime, revealing the wonders of Yellowstone National Park, or simply putting an extra log on the fire on a chilly Montana evening, the Hubbard Family and their dedicated staff set themselves apart by creating experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

Established in 1976, Hubbard's came into being when owner Jim Hubbard came to the Paradise Valley with a vision of building a cattle ranch. After a few years living his dream, Jim soon realized the potential the Valley held for sportsmen. He acquired an outfitters license and began expanding the ranch, slowly converting it into a lodge, wishing to share the wealth of the Valley by helping others realize their own Montana dreams.

Hubbard's is still run by Jim and his family and welcomes guests from all points of the globe. The Hubbard Family maintain a joyful and adventurous lifestyle that they extend to both their staff and their guests.

From its humble beginnings, Hubbard's Yellowstone Lodge has grown to be like the aptly named valley in which it was built... a true Paradise!

Our Ranch

Nestled between two stunning snow-capped mountain ranges, our ranch is spread over 25 miles of pristine Montana wilderness in the Tom Miner Basin of Paradise Valley. The lodge is perched on a mountainside with stunning views of the Yellowstone River with buildings that maintain the rough grace and rustic appeal of the original cattle ranch but with all the ambiance and amenities of a four star hotel. Guests at the ranch can have the best of both worlds; enjoying extravagant meals and accommodations while still being surrounded by untamed and seemingly endless wilderness.

We are 19 miles from Yellowstone Park via car, and our ranch borders the Park to the South. Bozeman is the nearest commercial airport. It is an hour and a half from our ranch. We can arrange for shuttle service to and from our ranch from the Bozeman airport. If you are looking up flights online, the airport code is BZN.
